Our Pre-school is church-owned and church-run, and we are pleased to accept children from any race, religion or culture. Our aim is to make all children feel valued and special and for all to have an equal access to learning.
We are registered and inspected regularly by the London Borough of Redbridge for children from two and a half to five years old. All staff are trained. We are also OFSTED inspected and receive funding for children aged 3 years upwards. This is for fifteen hours a week and is paid by the London Borough of Redbridge.
Children can stay longer than fifteen hours a week, but fees will be charged for the extra hours. The fees for extra hours or children under 3 can be paid in childcare vouchers which can be a tax efficient way of paying for child care. You will need to speak to your employer about this. You will need to tell us if you are wanting to do this.
The Pre-School is open Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 12 noon and then on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays there is an afternoon session running from 12 noon until 3.00pm. From Easter 2017 onwards the Pre-school will be open from 9:00am until 3:00pm Mondays to Fridays. This is during school term times.
Our aim is to enable children to learn through structured activities in secure and happy surroundings. We provide a full range of activities to encourage Pre-school skills in a warm, friendly, caring environment.
We are members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and are part of the Redbridge Early Years and Redbridge Child Care and Development Partnership. We have recently added to our extensive resources a secure and safe outdoor play area with a safe surface for the children. The surface is an all-weather surface and porous.
Visitors are always welcome. Please ring first to ensure a member of staff is available to show you around. For further information please phone 020 8554 9716 during Pre-school hours (Pre-school leader: Pat Reynolds) or use the contact form below:
