DEAR CHURCH

JANUARY 2026

Dear Church,

God calls us for His mission!

“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:15

As we approach the new year, 2026, let us pause, reflect, and rediscover God’s heart for a world He deeply loves. He is not calling us to rush into activity, but to allow Him to shape our hearts toward compassion, availability, and faithful obedience.

Romans 10:15 invites us into a posture of readiness, into our homes, our workplaces, our neighbourhoods, and our everyday conversations. The call is not about striving harder but about offering ourselves more fully to God’s leading. God does not ask us to go everywhere, but to be faithful where we are sent. And as we take those steps, however small they may feel, Scripture assures us that God calls them beautiful.

Calling those feet “beautiful” reshapes how we understand faithfulness. God does not measure beauty by visibility, eloquence, or recognition. He delights in willing steps taken in love. Beautiful feet may belong to those who listen patiently, serve quietly, give generously, pray faithfully, and speak gently of Christ when the moment is right. Mission is not reserved for a few but shared by the whole church. Some are called to go far; many are called to go near. Some speak publicly; others live out the gospel through daily faithfulness. Together, as one body, we participate in God’s work of making Christ known.

The apostle Paul walks us through God’s gracious design for salvation. People call on the Lord and are saved—but they can only call if they believe, and they can only believe if they have heard. Hearing, in turn, requires someone willing to be sent. The question echoes through the church today: Who will go? Who is willing to obey this calling and be part of God’s mission? Like Isaiah, may our response be, “Here am I, Lord. Send me.” Remember, God does not send us alone. He promises to be with us always, to the very end of the age.

Amen.

Wishing you a very happy and a blessed New Year 2026!

God Bless,
Amutha
