"Parentalk" (see below)
We are staffed by volunteers who are members of the church fellowship. If you wish to ask us about our faith or church activities, you are welcome to do so. Please let us know if there are ways that we can be of help to you. Should you require any further information, please contact Jean Bland on 020 8551 3285.
Child Sponsorship
Tiddlywinks sponsor a little boy called Peter. He comes from Kenya and lives with his parents, an older brother called Samuel and two younger sisters called Mary and Maureen. His father sometimes works as a mason and his mother sometimes works on the land. The family are very poor.
We are sponsoring Peter through a Christian organisation called "Compassion" who help children in poverty in over 22 countries. They are concerned about children's mental, physical and spiritual development. The local church administers the fund and purchase on behalf special birthday and Christmas gifts. Our regular sponsorship pays for Peter's education and medical care. We are at present collecting for a special gift for Peter's family.
"Parentalk"
From time to time we hold a short course looking at the complicated role of being a parent. If you are interested and would like further information please let us know.
