Activities: Sunday School
During the 10.30 am morning service, except for the first Sunday in the month when there is a Family Service, Sunday School is provided for children and young people from ages 3 to 17. During the first half of the service children worship with the adult congregation, then leave to go to their Sunday School classes.
Sunday School gives the children the opportunity to learn about the Christian faith and undertake a variety of activities tailored to their particular age.
Activities in Primary (ages 3-5 and 5-7) and Junior departments (ages 8-11) include singing lively songs and choruses, listening to Bible stories, drawing, colouring and craftwork.
In the 'Squash' (ages 11-13) and Young People's Fellowship (ages 14-17) there is opportunity for discussion about the Bible and applying it to issues facing young people in the 21st century.
We aim to make Sunday School an enjoyable experience for young people, the purpose being to encourage them to find out about the Lord Jesus for themselves.
