Activities: Badminton Club

We would be delighted for you to join our weekly badminton club for those over 18, held in the main hall. Whatever your age or standard of play, you would be most welcome to come and play and have a friendly chat over refreshments. Here's some useful information:

Time	Tuesdays 7.45-10.00 pm

Shuttlecocks	Provided by the club
Rackets	A spare racket is available for use by guests
Trainers	It is requested that only trainers with light coloured soles are worn
Fees	Full membership: £7.50 annual fee and then 50p per week. Full membership annual fee to be paid by end of November, otherwise a visitor fee will be charged. The annual fee covers the year from about October to September. Visitors membership: £1 per week A lump sum advance payment is always welcome if you prefer to pay this way.
Refreshments	Squash is available - please help yourself
Order of play	The order of play is determined by your position on the "peg board". On arrival please put your named peg on the right-hand side of the board, below the names of those already present. The first four pegs will be placed on the left-hand side of the board and will be the first four people to play. The remaining pegs on the right-hand side will be moved up the board. After the game is finished, the pegs from the left-hand side are placed below those on the right-hand side (in the same order) and the top four pegs on the right-hand side moved to the left-hand side - these will be the next four players. Basically if your name is on the left-hand side you are playing - if it is on the right-hand side you are not!
Christmas	The club does not meet if Christmas Day falls on a Tuesday!
Behaviour	We do request that people refrain from using bad language and are considerate in their behaviour. Thank you.
